Dalia Dippolito is facing a retrial on charges that she hired a hitman to kill her husband in 2009. As it turns out, the hitman was an undercover police officer. As part of the operation, law enforcement staged a crime scene and told Dippolito that her husband had been killed. Dippolito’s emotional reaction was captured on video because the Boynton Beach, Florida police department allowed the TV show Cops to be present with their cameras when Dippolito was told her husband was dead.
