The trial of Mark Sievers, 50, husband of Teresa Sievers, was originally scheduled to begin June 3, 2019 in Fort Myers, Florida, but the trial is delayed. A new trial date has not been set but the judge is holding a pre-trial hearing today. Sievers is accused of hiring a childhood friend, Curtis Wayne Wright, to kill his wife while he and their two children were on vacation in Connecticut. Teresa Sievers had left the vacation early to return home for work. As soon as she walked into her Bonita Springs, FL home, she was attacked and bludgeoned to death on June 29, 2015.
